I agree! and now with their new shop it's better than ever. Just about to buy a fold down easel with side drawer for brushes as a Xmas present for my granddaughter.

Great to look in a bargain shop not seen in Adelaide itself. So many things to buy,and a very good selection of art materials,wish I lived near this shop

Variety or yarn I love, craft things from jewellery, art, Nick nacks, all those forgotten items when ur out and about or away from home and need something quick.... eg toothpaste etc. Staff friendly and happy to help.

Love coming here.... staff are great, and it is.definitely Pandora box here. Wonderful bargain shop of allotted.. kitchen. Craft.gardening miscellaneous items, and a delightful bakery just up the road.for cake and coffee break :-)

This shop is absolutely full of bargains. We would be lost without it. You'll find everything from gardening tools to art supplies. There is no need to shop anywhere else. The service is wonderful and so friendly. Always there to help and even give advice.

Probably the best discount variety store in the Adelaide-Barossa area. Such an amazing range of products, and you can often find things here that you can’t find at other discount stores. They also do an amazing seasonal range - at Christmas they have the best selection on tinsel I’ve ever encountered! And it’s all much, much cheaper than going to target or Kmart. The staff are always friendly and helpful too, they hire a lot of local young people which is great for semi-rural areas.

We passed through a couple of months back, we live in Melbourne, bought some great stuff. Last week we decided we needed some extra goodies. Rang up and Thorpy’s confirmed our order and mailed it to us the next day. Fantastic value, service and attitude.

Keep local going! Prices have been increasing but I still find thorpies to stay true to a discount store. Friendly staff, great selection. Been a custimer for 20+ years

This is a really great gift shop that we went back to 3 times because we kept wanting to look at and buy more! Very friendly staff is the best thing about the store, but we also got laundry detergent for across the street, Australia stickers, paint and marker supplies off top brands for cheaper than Amazon, and more I don’t even remember. Their souvenirs section had Australia designed products too which was nice. It’s on the Main Street, easy to find and well worth a browse!
